Baby Sea Turtle Blanket
I love to create something special for my friends and family. A close friend of mine was pregnant with boy and girl twins. She is from Florida and absolutely loves baby sea turtles. We spent weeks figuring out the perfect design, colors, and style! After making her blankets, I offered this blanket on Etsy.
My hands can’t work fast enough to make this blanket for everyone, so instead I’m sharing my secrets.

To create ridges, when changing colors, work in blo for that row.
When making something with several skeins of different colors of yarn, having a yarn winder is so helpful, it keeps your stash nice and organized… if you use it. This is the one I use. It’s been going strong for the last year.

Make 5. I used lime green as color 1 and hunter green as color 2. I did not make the back, but instead attached them to the blanket. Due to the nature of the project, I did not stuff the turtles so there wasn’t a choking hazard.
